Manufacture Date

Anyone know how/where to find exact manufacture date of the vehicle if I have a VIN?

Sure, all your dealer has to do is plug it in his Netstar system. That’s the MB system for tracking orders and since I assume you haven’t taken delivery yet it should show up as being delivered to the dealer. Mine was manufactured 6/10/17. It’s all in their system.

The VIN can tell you several things, but I don’t think manufacture date is one of them.

VMI will show production date, what's your VIN? Or are you talking about an ordered vehicle that hasn't been built yet?

Just thought I’d mention since you’re considering cars to replace the one you ordered, in case you didn’t know, GLC’s do NOT come standard with parking sensors. Many people assume they do since all the bumpers have the little buttons that LOOK like sensors. They are part of the Parktronic system which is included in the Advanced Parking Assistance Pkg. I noticed the car you are considering has that pkg, so if parking sensors are important to you, be sure any car you consider has the Advanced Parking Pkg. As a side note, I thought the 360 cameras in that pkg. were kind of gimmicky, but I found they allow you to park as close as possible next to a curb or any other parking space where you’re trying to protect your baby from getting dinged. And these are HD cameras that are very clear. My daughter-in-law has a Range Rover Sport and her 360 cameras are standard def I guess and I wouldn’t want to depend on them for parking.

Good luck!

Depends where you are located, sensors are standard in UK.
