What replacement tires do you have?
Getting to the point I need to replace my Pirelli run-flat tires. Not sure if I should get run-flats again or just non-run-flat tires. What did you get?
- After the original Conti RFTs wore out at 35,000 miles I got a set of Michelin Premier A/S's. Fine tire giving a quiet and smooth ride.
- After the Michelins wore out at around 112,000 miles I replaced them with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II. That was about 10k miles ago and I find them even quieter and better riding than the Michelins.
Majority of my time is driving in heavy traffic so these tires were a good mix of quality (warrantied for like 80 K miles), quiet ride and good handling and price.

If you have 17's - II choose "normal" tires and keep a can of TireFlatFix in the trunk. Grand Touring All-Season is the category I shop
1. I would recommend Avid Ascend GT's about $150 each - UTQG 740AA - very/very solid premium All-Season tire
2. If you're going Budget - then the "new" Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2 - UTQG 660AA

1st - I "assume" you have 17's since you haven't mentioned different front/rear sizes.

Firstly, Merry Xmas to you and all.
Secondly what are your thoughts on.
A. 20" all round. and
B. 20" all round, but staggered tyre size ?
Given we are in Australia, we may not have the selection of tyres you have in USA..
Many Thanks.
