2021 GLC USA purchase/order advice

I’m considering ordering a 2021 GLC. we. N3eed a superior ride VS sport ride. Passenger seat must have adjustable lumbar.
Is there info on the details of the 2021 model, date of intro, pricing and feature changes?
Is ordering a new vehicle have any issues w MB? Do they favor it or no care for it? Do the dealers have issues w this process? There are no 2020 models fitting my needs.
Thanks in advance
Mark

Hey Rimfire. If you can't find a 2020 matching your needs, ordering is the way to go. Typically, changes are minor, like the adding of new options. They are not huge changes and what you see on the '20 is what is basically on the '21. I'll build a 2020 GLC which has all my must have options and your choices of ride quality and lumbar support for passenger.
Here are my options and price:
'20 GLC300 4MATIC : 44500 USD
Lunar Blue Exterior : 720 USD
18 Inch 5 Spoke : 0 USD
Exterior Lighting Package : 800 USD (ILS LEDs, Highbeam assist)
Black MB-Tex : 0 USD
Black Ash Aluminum : 0 USD
Topstitched MB-Tex upper dash and door trim : 350 USD
3-position memory for passenger seat : 350 USD
Heated rear seats and steering wheel : 830 USD
Premium package : 500 USD (KEYLESS-GO, Sirius XM 6 Mo., 64 Color ambient lighting, illuminated door sills)
Burmester: 850 USD
Grand Total : 49000 USD
I think these are what I would go for. Maybe you have a different taste for the paint, wheels, interior, or cabin trim, but I wouldn't leave any of the other options out.

You mentioned superior ride... I'm very happy with my GLC 300 but you do need to baby the suspension, it doesn't have enough travel. If you want soft suspension then you need to look at the air suspension package (which I've never experienced but others here have said is much better)

Is air suspension an option for 2020? Not in us at least

It was in Australia, but it's a fairly rare option so I was unable to test drive it before I bought mine without.

In the US it isn't an option. I couldn't find it on the build site.

Is Air Suspension standard for 2020 models now?

No. They are still steels. Air suspension has been removed from the GLC in US entirely.

AMG GLC 43, GLC Coupe 300 2020
That's a shame on Air Suspension supply in the US.

Still available in Australia. Would not own a GLC without the Air. I've had the GLC43 with air on 21' rims and now have the GLC 300 with air on 20' rims.

Has anyone seen a 2021 GLC DOG? Curious if MB will still be offering the 350e plug-in. Mine could never be built, which is why we ended up ordering 2021 GLE350 (I preferred the size and instrumentation of GLE anyway). I somehow got the feeling that MB was only half-heartedly committed to PHEV.

How did you find the "drop" from the 43 to the 300? And more specifically, did you notice a difference between the AMG "sports" air suspension on the 43 and the "standard" air suspension on the 300? When I was test driving in Aus the only ones I could drive with air suspension were AMG models and I figured that it wouldn't be representative.

I have seen 2020 350e. They don't randomly drop it like that. With the Q5 and the X3 now with plug ins, MB would definitely not remove the 350e.
