Pricing 2021 GLC 300 4MATIC
Purchased my last car in Dec 2006, so am quite rusty and inexperienced at this process. I'm looking at the 2021 GLC 300 4MATIC. Have looked at Edmunds, Truecar, etc etc. about pricing and such. Saw a post on this forum from around this time last year saying folks were getting the GLC for anywhere near 11-16% off MSRP. Curious if folks are still getting that kind of price. I really hate the idea of being ripped off, but I also don't want to be laughed at for insisting on a price in that range. Appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks - appreciate your reply. Yeah, that's an option to look into, but I was more curious what folks expect/are paying these days. Are the dynamics same as last year or were those % off MSRP driven by covid reducing demand and therefore % off MSRP is a lot less now?

I don't know if this applies to the GLC (I have a 2019), but I am looking to get a GLA for my mother and was quoted about 10% off back in December and now getting only around 5% discount. Was told it's not a demand issue (which I was told it was strong), but it's a supply issue, due to semi-conductor shortage, disruptions in supply chains, etc. They don't have enough supply is what I'm being told. If you look online for this, many articles confirm this about the automotive industry currently.

If you have an Amex card, they will get quotes for you. I just used for purchase of Volvo XC60 for my wife and best deal was $2k better (via trade-in) than other 3 offers in Atlanta area.

We just purchased a GLC 300 4matic in So CA (May, 2021) for 8% off. The dealership really didn't even blink, just matched the Costco discount plus a little more off. This was fine by me as they went out of their way to get everything my wife wanted, all wheel drive (not easy to find in So CA), navigation, multi-media package, pano roof, AMG styling etc...
I suspect 10% or a little more would be a reasonable discount, but with the chip shortage and finding a car that had everything we wanted I was more than happy with 8%
