Dumped runflats, and my mileage went up....
Got rid of my Pirelli Scorpion RFT tires after 5k miles, and went with a set of Nokian ONE tires for my GLC300. (excellent tires by the way, highly recommend them - made in Tennessee).
I am now just on my second tank of gas with the new tires, and I have picked up about 2 mpg. Not to mention the improved handling and comfort too.
Possible, or am I just in the honeymoon stage with my new purchase?

We changed from the Pirelli Scorpion RFT to Nokian WRG4 All Weather tires and saw a bit of improvement in fuel mileage, and a LOT of increased grip in the wet. Also excellent in snow. And Heat.
That's "All Weather," not "All Season."

I changed to a cheapo brand, about 1/3 the price. They were very good for more than 50,000km and pretty quiet.
Now driving a GLC. I am tempted to change the current run-flat to non-run flat.

Yes non run flats will be better, Michelin Latitude Sport 3 were OEM on some GLC Coupes, with a can of goo and an air compressor in the boot from Germany.
Goodyear All Season Eagle Sport run flats are a reasonable compromise in the 20” rim.
