new member, just ordered today, critique my build

Hello,
I just put a deposit down and have a mid December build spot with late this year or early January delivery.

I ordered:
2022 GLC300 4matic
Obsidian Black Metallic
AMG Saddle Brown MB-tex
Night Package DC1
AMG Line pack DG3
Natural Grain Walnut wood
heated steering wheel
packing sensors
19" AMG wheels w/ black accents
AMG floormats
Panorama Roof
heat and noise front and side glass

paying MSRP just under $52k USD.

I wanted the upgraded audio, but they are unable to add this currently.

Anyway, thanks for having me, and let me know if there's anything I should add or change, I have a few days.

thanks. I considered the real leather, but the mbtex felt good enough and Is more durable plus saving the money for other other stuff.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your build - This will be a beautiful car! I picked up a new 2021 GLC this past April, and love it. Two items I wish I had splurged for at the time were the Burmeister sound system and the Night package.

One extra to consider would be the spare tire option. It’s several hundred dollars (USD), but may give you peace of mind knowing that you can go further than the 50 miles that the MB standard run flat tires give you.

Enjoy your new ride! When can you expect delivery?

Would add the Intelligent Light System headlamps. Porsche charges 4k for that option and MB only charges $650.

I really like the digital gauge cluster as it makes the car feel more modern but that's subjective.

I considered both of those. but decided overall so save the the money. the headlights look better (from outside) without the upgrade IMHO and they are aready LED so that's good enough

7 years in her C-Class, she never opened it once. Add that $1500 to the hundreds I spent on the navigation SIM card and that's a lesson I don't need to learn again!

Here's my build for a Polar White/Saddle Brown MB-Tex coupe:
AMG Line w/Night Package
Black rear spoiler
20-inch AMG multispoke w/black accents
Natural Grain Black Ash wood and aluminum
Topstitched MB-Tex upper dash and door trim (I don't think I had a choice on that)
3-position memory for passenger seat
Heated rear seats
Heated steering wheel
Heat and noise-insulating front side glass
Intelligent Light System headlamps
Spare tire
All-Season Floormats
First -Aid kit
115V AC Power outlet (I don't think I had a choice on that)

Nice build. how do you like the glass upgrade? I went for it because it was cheap and hopefully works a little better.

I always suggest upgrading to the Intelligent Lighting System. It has saved me from two deer just this fall. Also, and this is only my opinion, I do not think that the Walnut on Saddle contrasts very well. Black Ash would be my suggestion there.

Hoping for a March delivery and really looking forward to it. There was lots of talk on the W205 forum of wind noise (the dealer claimed to know nothing about it) so I'm with you: small price to pay, how bad can it be?
