I’m not sure if the app varies based on model, or app version. I have a GLC300 4Matic SUV. My app version is 3.25.1. It does look like there are various content packages available for the app. The content in my app came packaged when I bought the car new from a dealer. I found this on the MB site.

SO i have paid for all the options on the MB shop link that you sent. I also have the pre-entry climate control option which starts the AC before entering vehicle.
The problem is the screen seems totally different than the one i posted above that shows the "remote start" button.

Which version of the app are you using? You can find it by clicking on the “menu” icon in the upper left hand corner and then Legal. It’s all the way at the bottom.
That message seems to indicate that engine changes were made after the factory. If the engine was modified after it left the factory you have your answer. If it wasn’t you may want to contact your MB dealer.
