If less than $30, I would. There's not a digital ANALOG CLOCK display hiding somewhere, is there? I've menu dived a TON but not found one. My old Honda even had a digital Analog Clock, and that was passable and useful for seeing a "Pie chart of my day's time"

There might be one if you turn off the screen as shown in the article below for the GT 63S, but maybe it's only in the AMG models that don't have the physical IWC clock in the center console. Several AMG models have long had an IWC design analog clock. I have it in my C63S as shown in the pic below. The regular models still had a basic analog clock there. The GLC never got it. I think it's a nice design element in this mostly digital world, especially given that it is a design from a high-end Swiss watchmaker in case of the AMGs.

yeah that looks great and functional.
an option for a nice looking digital version on the main screen would be nice.
Could even offer many different face styles. We should Email Mercedes.

Haha...young generations certainly don't. I had a conversation with somebody who works in a school and he was telling me students don't even know what the common clockwise/counterclockwise terms mean.

hahaha nice. I'm all over digital and new tech, but digital NUMBER clock don't show a graphic pie chart to the day like analog. Kinda like digi number speedometers/RPMs.... different feel than a dial

Agree.
If you have an appointment at 10AM, 9:52 digitally displayed, doesn't convey the urgency of the Big Hand's "almost late" info.

At least that's my excuse for occasional tardiness....

To be honest I prefer digital clocks and digital speedometers, because time and speed are measured precisely and a quick glance gives you the exact information. As far as time is concerned it also better be synchronized to one of the atomic clocks, so that it is never running slow or fast. If the train leaves at 9:52, then 9:52 it is and not approximately 10 to the 10. Similar with speed. If the speed traps clock you at x mph/kph, then you better know what your exact speed is with a quick glance. RPM is different. I don't need to know the exact rpm. I just need to roughly know where I am to shift and to not run into the rev limiter. Having said that, I do like analog clocks if I just need to roughly know what time it is, so I glance down to the IWC clock in my car if I don't need the exact time, but I look at the digital time in the instrument cluster when the exact time matters.

So, I am all over todays' digital instrument clusters, because at least in the AMG models I can get rid of the "analog" speedometer, which to me was always a waste of space and use it for more relevant information.

I do prefer digital speedos/rpms now, plus fake needles, because they are moveable and replaceable. An analog clock also harkens back to Benz nostalgia. I'd like it to be there digitally when I feel like it, and filed off screen when I want other things. So many possibilities now!

Here's all I am asking for, and would pay for, if any Benz engineers are lurking:

3 sizes of analog clock on the screen
glorious 3D looking light shaded graphics - maybe even shadow and light movement based on various cameras and light sensors on the vehicle.... so it LOOKS 3D real
various matching styles and faces for every mood and color - you could sell new faces also
fully color changeable
face info display changeable
historical faced clocks from Benz analog clocks through the ages
famous clock sponsored designs: Rolex, OMEGA, Tag Heuer, Seiko, Casio
maybe an 80s Casio digital calculator watch just for fun
MAYBE "angle-able" left and right with finger swipe

saw a video this weekend with exactly what I wanted: An analog clock option. the screen was longer and was splitable and there was an option for (digital) analog clock on part of it. guessing this was AMG version or something? Sounds like a simple possible update to MBUX to me. Except its not an option at this time.

Oh, I totally forgot about this. But yes, the COMAND system, predecessor to MBUX, has the split screen option. I have this in my 2019 C63S and I configured it to show the navigation map like shown in the video below, but you are right, there's also an option to show a clock there instead. But this is not an upgrade to MBUX. This is something that the prior latest version COMAND system had as found in the 2019+ C Class, as well as the E Class and S Class. If you can't find a split screen option under the Display and styles settings in MBUX, then that's one of the things they got rid of in MBUX. In many ways I find MBUX to be a step backwards.
