2020 GLC 300 - $26,890. Good Buy?
Hello All! I am in the market for a small suv with my first child on the way. I am new to cars and will be my first car purchase. Potentially looking at a GLC 300 and wanted to get your guys expert opinion on price and condition. A local dealership has the following :
Year purchased: 2020
Type of owner: Personal lease
Estimated length of ownership: 3 years 11 months
Estimated miles driven per year: 9,286 per year
Last reported odometer reading: 37,094
A couple of problems with it according to carfax:
1. Minor accident that seems to be only cosmetic
2. No history of any maintenance during ownership
What do you guys think? any feedback is appreciated! looking for red flags and things I should be concerned for

Don’t buy any MB with a four banger. Read about piston cracking and failed cylinder heads.
If you move forward, buy a Fidelity Platinum warranty and expect to spend time in the shop with this car.

Thanks, good to know! I guess since I am in the used market I won't be able to have that luxury of control since I am not the first owner and also given the carfax history this doesn't have any reported services so I am leaning on passing this car. Unless I negotiate heavily to consider the added cost of additional warranty.
BTW if it's not factory, it's not a "warranty," but an insurance policy issued by an insurance company

Friend's 2022 RX350 was in the shop like 4 times, week long each time.
Most important part with MB is maintenance.
Its important with all cars but especially with MB
Engine's problem most of them came from wrong oil, or gas. Im sure people who lease cars don't care on what gas gets in and oil changes by the book which is way too long.
