2023 Ordering Guide?

The cost of my car in 2020 was $52,055 (includes $995 destination). The 2023 if I figured correctly is $56,200 (includes $1,150 destination) The 2023 configuration of the car is pretty close to what I had in 2020. That gives me an 8% increase. It's a 15.5% increase for everyone in destination cost, ouch!

Has anyone heard the same thing??

Ordered our's Feb 25, It was built March 29. Not yet sure when it will ship let alone be ready to pick up at the dealer. No particular hurry. Anyone interested in a 2011 Lexus RX?

What is gping on? 1st MB can't or won't give dates. Now the ships are messed up. I just hope the car is offload and doesn't end up back in Germany.!!

My GLC is on the ARC Independence and when it left Germany was to doc in Brunswick GA on the 8th but looking at the ARC site is now scheduled to doc on the 11th.
What is gping on? 1st MB can't or won't give dates. Now the ships are messed up. I just hope the car is offload and doesn't end up back in Germany.!!

I have a VIN number, total price but nothing on shipping. Does anyone know for sure having the VIN is confirmation of scheduled to be built or has been built ? Not sure how sharp my dealer sales guy is to be honest

Not entirely sure but I think if you have a VIN, there should at least be a scheduled Production date.

My build sat in Germany for a few weeks and is now scheduled to be offloaded tomorrow in Brunswick. But who knows when MB will allow it to be delivered.
Try this site https://mb.vin on the 4th line is your order number and the last line is the build date.

Thanks Desal, The link worked. It is built. Looks like it was around 5,000 units after yours. I know from experience of my work products coming from Germany the boat ride is short. Like a week. Waiting for a vessel and everything else adds lots of time.

Thanks Desal, by the way your past fleet lines up with mine. Had an 05 E320 CDI now drive a 16, E250. Wife's Lexus RX will be replaced by the 23 GLC.

Wow, faster then I was expecting but I'm really happy to see MB pushing these out! I was worried they would be delayed for another 3 months.

The MBUSA web site now shows the 2023 GLC SUV. The build drop down only allows the 2022 (not 2023) AMG GLC 43. If you go to Shopping/Tools/Estimate Payment you are allowed to estimate the GLC SUV and all the other GLC models. So it might be true that cars in VPC should be on their way shortly.
