There is no shortage of stories from those that bought model year 1 cars and had plenty of problems. Generally it is considered better to wait for year 2 and beyond. Of course each persons circumstances will dictate what they need to do and why. Our last car was a 2019 RDX Acura, which was year 1, and there have been plenty of issues that really did not really resolved until the MY 2022 came out because some of it was hardware related which no amount of software updates, resetting and so on could fix. I signed up for MB World to try and get an idea of how the 2023 GLC was going, which of course for a '23 came out so late.....April/May of '23. There has not been much feedback here, and I don't really know what the most read/utilized blog for MB's is, bit I am hoping to get some sense of how it's introduction is going. I realize the exterior is not changed much from previous gen., the interior is changed, and personally I love the look of both. I think it is one of the best looking compact/mid-size SUV's o the road. I don't think MB has a good job getting this thing out given how late it was getting it to dealer lots, how bad the MB website is for the GLC, and the difficulty getting a '23 or '24 ordered. MB did not seem to get many of these out to dealers as what initially showed up is about all that has ever made it. Inventories have hardly changed. I hope there are more owner reviews to get a better idea how the year 1 GLC is going.
