2023 GLC 300 4MATIC
Well, traded my 2020 GLE 350 4matic …

It’s actually been great. Front seat cousins cracked replace by warranty and a/c compressor just went out last week and they gave me this as a loaner. Love it.

Told them to keep my GLE, and bought this.

I get it...I traded my GLE400d for the New GLC300, way better car, NTG7 navigation, the screen, wireless connection, the smooth driving,Burmester sound, petrol electric thing ...is sooooo much better than my old 2020 GLE....

Congrats on the new vehicle, how do you find the seat comfort and ride quality, would also help if you let us know what size wheels the two vehicles have. How do you find the cargo space/interior headroom & legroom and parking/maneuverability.

2023 GLC 300 4MATIC
They have the same size wheels..19 inch. However the GLE looks like a silly Hot Wheels car because there is a huge gap from the top of the tire to the wheel wells. Like the car is on stilts. Not a good look. The GLE sits up much higher. Definitely harder to get up into. The GLE does feel much more substantial. It’s a big heavy vehicle. The ride is a bit more comfortable and a bit quieter. Like a Cabin Cruiser. Seats are no more comfortable than the AMG style seats. My GLE looked like an average SUV soccer mom vehicle. Boring but a great vehicle. I got one of the first ones in my state April of 2019…2020 model. It is a tank.

The Cargo space on the GLC with AMG cosmetic package is slightly smaller. My golf clubs fit fine with ample space. No issue and the rear seats are a bit closer, but again, not an issue. I love the sexy AMG line body styling and interior. Apple Play!!!!! Also Spotify through Apple Play (fine tune the Spotify equalizer) sounds massive compared to my GLE. Much more fun to drive. Like a speedboat vs the Titanic. Love the screen vs the GLE dashboard screen seemed farther away. Hope this helps.

My car came with 20"AMG, Article AMG seats...ride is way better than my GLE which had 22" rims and airmatic, the seats at first a bit tight but now loosened up and feel great, my youngest son is 6'1" has no problem in the back seat.Car is fully loaded, Digital light etc,Burmester Premium sound, only thing it does not have is airmatic, but does not need it ,ride is great.Augment navigation is superb

Appreciate your response OP, hmmm I understand a bigger wheel could make the wheel gap smaller for the GLE as well as lowering (but that is aftermarket) or at least have air suspension (this probably solves the getting up into problem as well).Ah, not surprised the GLE is heavier. I see, not surprised the GLE is more comfortable and a bit quieter given it is more insulated and the suspension is more luxury tuned.

Sounds good, glad to hear the GLC's decreased cargo space compared to the GLE still fit your needs. I was surprised the speakers are better than the GLE, was the GLE not Burmester by chance prior or I thought that was standard back in 2019? I see, I understand how the smaller size can make the vehicle more nimble to drive, the GLC is usually designed with more sporty in mind.

Appreciate the comparison, it does help thank you.

Thank you too for your reply, glad to hear everything is going well for you as well. Surprised airmatic GLE wasn't as comfortable as the GLC, but yes those 22s are a huge cause to that. Happy to see ride quality to be good in the GLC, looks like Mercedes focused on that on this generation GLC while still having sportiness in mind. Agree with the augmented navigation, it is a cool party trick but most importantly it helps ensure we don't miss exits. If I recalled correctly, there is also a feature to turn on house numbers relay.
