Standard and optional equipment

Hey,

I’m currently on the lookout for a used GLC(2020-present) and all the options are so confusing.

Is anyone aware if it’s possible to find out what standard and optional equipment were available in this model for a specific country?

Thanks!

You need to decide if you are looking for a X253 or X254. This is the X254 forum, which is 2023 and beyond models.
After that, you could go to the build configurator and it will list the standard equipment and optional equipment or you could go to MBUSA media site for the X254 standard equipment https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...r-2023-glc-suv
or you could check the dealer ordering guide: https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...lc-suv-dog.pdf

As mentioned I’m looking into GLCs newer then 2020. So that would include both a x253 and a x254.

My issue is finding for specific countries in Europe a list of standard and optional equipment.

thanks

Sorry about that, didn't know you need Europe information. What country in specific? If Uk, it should be this: https://www.landlautomotive.co.uk/Up...e-Jul-2024.pdf

Agree pick a country, find a dealer websites and search. Think they all will be pretty close in the EU. The big stumbling block is the “law”. Unfortunately in the US no more diesel. Can’t even import one or buy in Canada drive over the border and register in the US. I would love a diesel hybrid.

As for pre 2024 they will be used. So pick one if you like the color and the options, go for it.

You'll need to look at the VIN label and decode the options that are in the car. Is there something like VIN Analytics for MB? The issue is that some standard equipment was left off because of supply chain issues, same with the optional "packages".
For example, I have an early 2023, it has "Enhanced Ambient Lighting", some of the later 2023's don't have it.
I also don't even know if I have the foot kick hatch open feature. I should figure that out....on my other car it's hit or miss so it's not something I miss but I'm not even sure if I have that.

Thanks for the info. This was my next step.

First I would like to understand what was standard on the GLC Coupe and what optionals were possible. Then based on the found cars VIN try to decode which of them they have (rough idea, not 100% accurate)

I know it can be confusing but you have to go online and confirm your options right to be sure what you want and you can look for referrals
