Surging

Hello , disappointed owner of a 2024 GLC 300 ....going back into the shop for a "coolant system malfunction" warning light tomorrow, going to try to have them try AGAIN to find the cause if the intermittent surge forward when I stop at a light, had it last time and couldn't reproduce the issue ..any ideas . Additionally, why the hell when the car is in the auto shut off mode at a light does MB allow the car to roll backwards if on an incline ,even slight hill, like a manual transmission ???
Cant wait for this lease to be over ...going back to BMW !!!

It has nothing to do with auto off mode. It does it when you are not coming to a complete stop, it stands still if you completely stop. But I agree, it is annoying when you don't know.

Are you one of the forum members that posted this issue before or this is the first time? I've been hearing about reports of this since last week so I suspected a bad software update pushed.

One possible cause was 48V battery.
