GLC63 Tune Soon

I’m surprised I’m not seeing more about performance upgrades on this forum. I’m at 300 miles on my 2019 GLC63 AMG-S Coupe. I plan to use the Kleemann K-Box after break-in. The K-Box is plug & play and it’s a 600 HP/TQ tune! Very happy with Kleemann in the past. I’ll post an update when done.

there are performance posts.

A few are tuned, someone is getting a turbo upgrade. Mine is 1 week old at 700 miles. I will be doing eurocharged which is local or Renntech which has name recognition. no decision yet.

remember it is a quick vehicle as is.

Let me know how whichever you go with feels. I am wanting to do a tune but like you said, this is a fast car. So I am not sure I need 100 more hp. My biggest thing right now is getting some exhaust work done.

Tune was worth every penny, and the exhaust note changed slightly too.

The tune definitely makes the car more alive. Although top end really stays the same. They make it much more aggressive in the 3k-5k rpm range.

Those wheels are super-aggressive and look amazing. I am considering wheels myself.

Would you mind sharing your wheel sizes? Stock offsets?

I dig the wheels but with the 22’s you lose all the fun and performance. Watch out for those pot holes! Lol

Most of my driving is on Houston interstate and texas highways. no pothole fears.

I did put the wheels on the scale and the rears weighed in at 86lbs versus 68lbs stock and the front weighed in at 72lbs.

I have already taken them off after doing the noob photoshoot.

I also did try to see if 18" wheels could be massaged over the brakes, but the answer is absolutely not.

I am going to order a lightweight set of 20"s in January, just have not decided on which yet.

they are quite heavy so I am thinking of getting a different style with less mass.

From your pic it looked like it cleared the calipers just barely, what was the problem with it?

UPDATE: Kleemann K-Box installed today.
I worried I wouldn’t be able to tell if it “was working.”
Uh.... It’s definitely “working!”

is the loss in performance super noticeable? I am thinking about a set of 22's for the summer with Pirellis on. I am not sure of the rims weight, but Im sure its heavier than the stock I have on now.

I was not able to dyno the car prior and have not done it after, but may do so at some point.

GLC AMG63 - 2018
Tuning newb here.

Have a '18 GLC63, if I were to get the K-box can it be mapped to one of the driving modes or is it "always on". I live in NYC (duh) so most of the time this car is doing 0 to 40 albeit quickly. But would love to be able to select more power for open roads. Mileage is so bad in city driving I wouldn't want it all the time.

Thanks for info.
