2019 AMG C-43 Coupe
Is there a setting I'm missing that turns on any audible sound that warns me I'm getting 2 close to stuff backing up or going forward IE(Garage Door)

It is included if you parking assist package with the 360 camera. Without that package it is rear-view camera only and no sound.

yeah, it looks like they bundled all the good rear aids into park assist.
Not even cross path detection.

Even with the pkg the audible alert only beeps when you’re super close and you better stop right there or it’s too late.

Guys help,
i cant stand all that beeping when I am going around cars.
the safety crap is more dangerous to me On then Off.
i browsed through the console and couldnt find how to turn off assistance/bkind spot beeping crap.

I was pissed about this as well when I got my car. I wasn't aware of this option.Originally Posted by Damsure21

German companies need to get with the program.
The standard equipment in Ford, Dodge, Chevy cars blows German cars out of the water.
Parking sensors, capless fuel tanks, sun glasses holder that actually can hold sun glasses, cross traffic alert, the list goes on.

The on-off button is to the left of steering wheel on lower dash. By default it turns on when you start the car.

center screen (in front of steering wheel, hit the home button on the steering wheel and scroll down past trip/radio/media/phone and settings) under driver assist.. thats active blind spot and collision detections (cross traffic).. Turn it off if you like, but it wont warn you anymore if there is a car/pedestrian thereOriginally Posted by dingogregg
