Anyone using wheels spacers to achieve better stance using stock 21's ?

Has anyone done a wheel spacer/ extended bolt set up on a 43 (or 63) with the stock 21" (or 20") wheels?
I am aiming for a OEM+ style with a sportier drop and more aggressive stance.
My idea of aggressive is offset that achieves a flush with the fender dynamic with a drop that is devoid of "tuckage".

Any feedback and/or pictures to show the details of your set up would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

i’ve Had my GLC43 for about two years now and believe I was one of the first few To install spacers, there was very little info at the time. Do a search on TOOGECKO and the thread should pop up.

just decide how much you want to add to the offset and order spacers. your hub is 66.6mm

FWIW, I am down to 20mm front offset from 28mm, then i added 10mm to front tire width to 275.
I added 20mm to rear tire with 315 width.

based on those numbers,

adding 12mm spacers to front and rear should get you about where I am.

Every 2mm added in wider wheels/tires is 1mm added in spacers. Tire and wheel additions are shared between inside and outside of tires

Not factory wheels or tire sizes but this will give you something to go off of too. Look at post 6.
I'm 21mm more front, 24mm rear.

same configuration in 22" wheels i previously had on.

The front wheels here were 28mm or 30mm but 9" wide instead of stock 9.5". tire was 265 width. I felt it was too high. This is why i went down to 20mm offset in front for a true flush look plus the 5mm from going to 275 tires.

Thanks for the pictures Viper. Might be the angle(s) but to me there seems like there is more room
to push them out even further. I am thinking if your car was lowered your wheels would still tuck.
Do they ? Either way thanks

I am lowered. At a certain point you have to start caring about what the bottom of the tires are doing as you are pushing the top to line up with the fender.

Go with 12mm on both front and rear and you will attain a very nice, flush appearance. I had that setup before mounting Vorsteiner wheels. With the offset on Vorsteiners one does not need spacers. I am also lowered on H&R's. I am satisfied with the fitment.

That's true but the thread starter did not specify a model, he simply stated "43 or 63" which could be a C or GLC. I have a C but the fitment would likely be the same for the GLC

True but it's in a GLC forum. . Totally different fenders/wheel size/offsets etc, very different fitment.

I have my module on its way just trying to determine mm and brand in spacers.

FYI if you haven't seen it on other posts, 13mm is the minimum IIRC to clear the factory hub and seat properly.
I used H&R spacers and bought bolts from Otis.
Otis was hugely helpful and quick to respond to emails, possible they have other sizes of spacers too not listed.

Did you go with a floating spacer or a full Hub-centric with extended bolts ?
