New member/Mercedes owner.
Took possession of a new 2020 GLC43 yesterday. Supposedly first one in Hawaii.
Nothing but smiles all around. Lots of new things compared to the 19'a apparently. Not that I have one, the tech concierge guy showing all the details was a bit lost and had to consult a manual or two to catch up quickly.
we picked up my wife's 2020 GLC43 today too. What a beautiful car and I love new grill and round quad exhaust tips. It was worth 6 months wait for a special order.
Looks great guys. I just got back from picking up my GLC63. I'll get some pictures up later. Have either of you figured out CarPlay? I used a USBC to lightning and i couldn't get it to work, it had already been paired with BT. Is it one or the other (BT or CarPlay, not both)?

I paired BT first which was super easy. Then I used USBC to USB female adapter cable that came with the car (it was in the glovebox) and I used standard lightning cable to plug it in into adapter cable. Then on phone, I had to enable Siri (it was off because my wife does not like her and then carplay screen appeared on screen. It was super easy. Actually was surprised you do not even have to download carplay on Iphone. I use android auto in my car and I had to download it from Google Play.
It is really great that they have touch screen now (finally) - I rented 2019 S350D in Germany this summer and boy was it painful to use carplay/android auto. And I love AMG steering wheel with touch buttons.

That white is just beautiful! Congrats on the GLC and yea... that wait was tough but well worth it IMO.

OOOH that 63 is just sexy. My wife and I both use Android so not sure if it helps or not but we had to first BT pair it, then cable connected for "Android Auto" to work and project onto the screen. Mine was a little finicky at first but then it just worked... Has since then without issue.
I'm going to order mine soon coming from an Audi sq5.

I've been hearing people say that the H31 Anthracite Oak open-pore wood
Has somewhat of a brownish tint which u say isn't the case
Can you send pics of the ambient lighting and did you get the tech package?
Barbaris up above posted the ambient cabin lighting for his. You can make it any color you wish from the touchscreen menu.
I did not get the tech package. I really didn't really see a need for it honestly. I can't speak for Apple products but I can everything I need to and more from my Android phone.
Bluetooth link works fine, plugging in via the USB-C port to the phone works as well and Android-Auto pops up, all voice activated commands work great too.
Watch the word "Mercedes" in the cabin, can't say it without the GLC responding.
Ohhhh that is beautiful. Some options on there I didn't even see when i was ordering. "897" , maybe I just don't remember that one. Slick!
