2020 GLC43 - Transmissions Issues

Hey guys, curious if anyone else is experiencing issues with their transmission? When I demand high performance from the car, I am experiencing thudding and vibration from the center console, gearbox area that feels like clutch chatter. Its hard to explain however, the feel I can only describe as knocking when under load. I have taken it to the dealer already and of course the idiots said that this is normal and eluded that it was the performance exhaust noise making that feeling. Either they have undereducated mechanics or are trying to pull a fast one. It feels like a transmissions mount is broken or something internal to the gear box is missing a tooth or something. The car was broken in properly, Its going back to he dealer today but wanted to check with the community to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem?

Sounds like some some sort of an issue. My 2020 GLC43 is smooth in comfort and nice and firm, quick shifts in sport plus. Hope you get it figured out. Its not the back fires in the exhaust is it? Mine does that in sport plus.

Thanks and No, I actually paid more for the sport exhaust and want the pops! This is clearly an internal issue in the trans or something with the diff. Could potentially be a broken trans mount, I guess we will see. Will contact Mercedes of America if they give me the run around again.

Sounds like a problem. Ask to test drive another GLC43 for comparison. Take the mechanic with you on both rides. Masks on, windows down of course. Be safe!

We went on a test ride and I showed him the problem, they offered to go on a ride along which was great. Thankfully, the car behaved and actually displayed the problem to the tech who agreed it was abnormal. We shall see!

They gave me a GLC 300 as a replacement and the factory non-upgraded audio system sounds much better than mine! Maybe ill downgrade

I have the base audio in my 2017 glc 43 and it's awful. Maybe it changed with the facelift.

Update: No progress on the transmission problems. Their mechanics can't source the problem on the vibration and shaking and mis shifts under load. Mercedes sent a mechanic to my dealer to look at the car today. Will update as it develops. Still loving the 300 as a daily.

Update: The dealer installed a new transfer case today and it didn't correct the shifting / chatter issues. They are sending another mechanic out and will be assessing the car in 2 weeks. More to come.

Did you get this sorted? If so, what did they find?

After 2 months in the shop, they determined it was the driveshaft. they replaced it and it seems to be ok but Im selling the car back as per lemon law.

2021 GLC43 POS tranny

just got a 10k mile CPO GLC43 and this is the worst transmission I've ever dealt with. my 08 rav4 is more enjoyable to drive than this pos. 2nd gear is the problem and it jerks when going up or down. its like when a newbie tries to drive manual and cant switch gears properly. thats what it feels like. took it to service today and they said "car drives like other glc43s." they wouldnt say the transmission was faulty but basically they implied the transmission is a known problem and its a pos. anyone experiencing this same problem?? please comment

AMG GLC 43
I just started a separate thread for a different transmission issue on my 43 (where it doesn't engage into 1st from a stop while in drive) but coming from a buttery smooth 6-speed on a 2013 S4, I am a little appalled and shocked how janky the transmission seems to be on a 70k dollar car. However, I have not had the issue that has been described here. And just to be clear, 99.9% of the time, the transmission is fine and I haven't really experienced any of the jerkiness that has been reported.
