GLC 63 AMG ordered, a few questions.
1. Are they any must have options I should add, or anything that was really a waste of money and that you regret ordering?
2. How reliable are these cars as far as engine and transmission? I know all cars have electric glitches with all the ECU's in them, but I'm more interested in the driveline parts and air bag suspension.
3. If I don't order the tow hitch from the factory, Can I order the hitch and wire harness from MB and do it myself? I've done all that and coded the rear camera on my BMW so I'm not worried about the "know how"
One other item i am happy with is the aero package; i was unsure on that and was/is worth it seeing the car in person.

You can purchase a Stealth-Hitch, which I have had on 3 different SUVs and have a local installer or a Mercedes Dealership install it. It is awesome because when you remove the receiver, which is a 5 second job, there is no sign of a trailer hitch whatsoever.
Even if their website doesn't list a hitch for you model, call the guy, he will probably just build you one. I believe the one for my 2019 AMG 63s was listed for a GLC 300. Mercedes wanted $600 for the install and a indy shop did it for around $450. They basically pull of your bumper. install it and put your bumper back on. All sensors and hands free tailgate work as normal.

I did the exact same hitch on my wife’s last X5. Wired their OEM harness and ecu into the BMW slot and everything worked as factory. Only took about 3hrs. Also coded the rear camera for trailer view.

Btw, got $9K off sticker and a fair trade-in.

-I could've went without the drivers assistance package because I rarely use cruise control for my driving. It is a drivers car after all.
-I didn't option the exterior lighting package because we get most of the neat features neutered in the US. But I later found out out you can get the full features unlocked with a OBD II dongle. Regret not getting this.
-I went back and forth with the sport seat option. Ended up not getting it because I use ventilated seats a lot. But sometime I still wish I had it. If only MB offered ventilated sport seats.
