My wife's GLC43 was recently in the shop for repairs due to a rear-end collision. I was in such a hurry to drop off the vehicle that I failed to look in the trunk floor storage area (add also that I had never looked in this area before...yeah, I know). As the vehicle was just picked up, I would like to confirm what items should be in that area.
It’s going to depend on what you will or won’t have on what tires you have, run flats or not, did u get a spare tire or not, and so on, seems what is in there and how it’s finished is a mixture

Our vehicle has run flats. The vehicle did not come with spare tire.
What prompted me to look in the trunk storage area for the first time after picking up the vehicle is that there was a box in the front passenger floorboard area with 4 items:
-front plate mount
-plastic crate
-first aid kit
-cargo net
I could be wrong, but with run flats I think you should possibly have a can of sealant, and an air compressor, but I could be completely wrong
just guessing and trying to remember things I have read here

Correct on the run-flats... I noticed that others don’t seem to have the tow eyelet in the pictures ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
DIY spare tire well liner on car optioned with spare
The GLC43, optioned with the donut spare tire, has a cheesy 1/4 liner that only covers the fuse block area on the right rear side corner of the spare well. The rest is exposed, painted metal.
I ordered a felt package tray, part #253-690-07-03-9F08, and cut it around the plastic spare tire mounting bracket to finish out the exposed metal areas in the spare well. It looks much more finished out now. I had to piece the new package tray together with the original 1/4 felt liner because the fuse block is mounter farther towards the back of the car when the spare tire option is included. Not sure why MB can't spend a few more dollars to finish out this area, like on model w/out the spare tire.
Looks really good! Did you order the part from the dealer or find it on-line? your trunk area looks the same as mine. I have a 2021 GLC43 and ordered the spare tire option from MB. Ended up with the same situation, plain painted floor, looks bad, I want to do the same.
Just a note, I added sound deadening material (Noico 80 mil) to the floor area, I believe it helped the noise level.

Thanks! I was able to order it thru a local'ish MB dealer and have it shipped to me. Certainly look better and more finished than the exposed metal that was there before.
