AMG performance seats

I don't see an option for the AMG performance seats when I'm configuring a 2021 Amg Glc 63 suv?
I've tried many times.

I would check with a dealership. The online configurator is not always correct, but it appears they are discontinuing them for the US market, at least for some of the models due to lack of interest. They are no longer available for the facelifted E63/S, either. There just weren't enough takers unfortunately. The average American is too out of shape for them. I see they are still available for the GLC 63/S Coupe. They might limit them to coupes as those are meant to be the sportier less practical vehicles. Sedans and the soccer mom SUVs might not get them anymore.

I have seat ventilation one of my other cars. It doesn't do much. It's not like air-conditioned seats or anything like that. I doubt that I would option the leather seats for $2,590 and add the ventilated seats for $450 for a total of $3040 to get a little fan under my seat. I heard that the Dinamica seats where glorious.

With the performance seats the ventilation actually works great. I think it has to do with the side bolsters being tighter so there is a seal and the side bolsters themselves are perforated for ventilation. The normal seats only have perforation in the seat cushion and back. My back instantly cools down when I turn it on. DINAMICA was not an option for the C63S, only the non-S, and the side bolsters are MB-Tex instead of leather if you get DINAMICA. I did have Alcantara seats on my previous car and I did like them a lot, but on a hard drive or hot days I still got a sweaty back. The main purpose of ventilation is that your back can breathe and stay dry. Active cooling isn't really necessary. It's enough to blow air conditioned cabin air.

That's great info, but I'm looking at getting a AMG GLC 63 suv not coupe.

I would check with the dealer and see what they might be able to do, maybe with a special order? It does look like they are coupe only. they could be swapped if you have money to burn....

I love mine in my 2020 SUV.
