Exterior lighting package

For those who have this option, how do you like it?
Does it look better than the headlights without the option?

yes the lighting is worth it. a MB without it isn't good.

I actually light the look of the headlight better without it. But the technology with the package is better. I spec'd mines without it but if I did it again I would get it and then have the multibeam function enabled. (They come disabled in North America)

Can anyone confirm if the lighting package provide brighter or wider range of light coverage?

Kind of defeats the purpose for the package if we dont even get the multi beam feature.

of course it's much better. it also has active curve as well which is when the steering is turned, the light angle toward it. for a $70K Mercedes..this should be a standard instead of option.

Can you show me your cars head lights with just the DRLs on and also with headlights on?
On the configurator it seems like the thickness of DRLs are different depending if you have the lighting package or not.

I'm regretting not getting this option. I stuck with the standard lights and they're "ok" at best. Looks wise and functionality the upgrade is well worth it imo. On top of that, IIHS came out with a report on the GLC having a top safety score, but would be higher if they had the adaptive lights due to the standard lights not being bright enough. You can Google it to see the article. I just wish there was a way to buy and install the package after purchase...which i have yet to figure out.

I know, old thread, but how does the coding occur on 2021+ models? I have coded features into my 2014 E350 but looking at more recent models and just wondering.
