If I may ask, where did you purchase the AMG hood badge from? Noticed the listed site is in Germany.
Is it just attached with adhesive backing?

It clips on, you remove the existing one with a plastic pry tool like those used to open phones.

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely want to change out the black MB star for the AMG emblem, which will then match my AMG wheel caps.

Did you guys purchase through a MB dealership?. Everything I see online for MB affiliated parts sites shows A0008170308 is discontinued?

Update, I was able to order the AMG emblem from Germany, through my MB dealer.

They found zero in US inventory and only one in Germany, which I prepaid for.

Should hopefully arrive in 2 weeks, or less.

Ordered last week from an eBay seller who has multiple available - arrived in genuine sealed packaging and appears to have originated from a dealership in California. Doubt a seller would go through the trouble to forge original sealed packaging for an $80 badge.

Install was a breeze but needed a hard plastic micro-squeegee tool to break the initial seal (I'm sure you could find a household item in a pinch).

Interestingly, was at the dealership this weekend and the 2024 GLC 43 comes with the same/upgraded hood badge.

Actually, all amg branded vehicles since the C 63 S E Performance has this badge on the hood (so starting 2024 or 2025 model year) so that was not surprising. This includes all the 35, 45.
