Canadian VMI needed
Can anybody from our northern neighbor get a VMI report from a dealer? They're a little strictor up there than down here. Bought a 2018 GLC63 S Edition 1 last week and just want some info on it. TIA

Sadly the answer is no, I asked my friend across the border before but they can't pull VMI out of a Canadian VIN vehicle not because they don't want to but the system refuses to recognize the VIN. It is a different database and they probably aren't authorized to check VINs outside.

You bought in Canada and brought it to the US? You mind if I ask you a few questions on the process? I've been wondering if it could be done and what issues I would run into. From what I'm hearing it will be hard to get information off the VIN here.

I am, but I'm not looking to purchase new not sure if that makes a difference? I would look into buying a 20-21 GLCs. A friend of a friend of mine; who I did talk too, bought an Audie TT from Canada from a private dealer and they assisted with the purchase and transfer to US. I just wanted to talk to someone here who actually purchased a GLCs out of the country and brought it over. I've looked online (google search) and found 2 GLCs for sale but don't have the specs that I'm looking for.
I can easily call the private dealer, I guess I just want to talk to someone that has done it already and get their side of the story.
