Production delays/ timeline

GLE350
Ordered my GLE350W4 on June 4, was told Production 2nd week of August, picking it up on Saturday, so I'm a pretty happy camper.
Someone earlier in the thread mentioned their dealer still didn't have pricing - I had a similar situation which was making me nervous.. I'm coming out of a 2017 GLE350, put $500 back in June on the order with no pricing other than the MSRP printout at the time. My sales rep (who I actually like and don't feel like I need to take a shower after working with) basically said "let's wait to see what the incentives look like when your GLE comes in". OK, fine. Fast forward to last week when he calls me to tell me it's coming in and I can pick up Saturday, and "we can work on the numbers then"... My immediate reply was absolutely not, and we wound up working everything out through email. I wound up getting (what I feel, and validated after checking edmunds and cargurus) a pretty good deal, so I'm relieved, but I was definitely out of my comfort zone with not having a price nailed down out of the gate.
Long Island (New York) Dealership, car coming out of the Baltimore VPC.

I've ordered 2020 GLE on Feb. The dealership told that they will deliver on June. Until now, I still haven't any message about my car, and the dealership just told me that it is delayed. It just makes me confused

The dealership told me that my car was done of production in late of August but no time for transportation. I asked why has no time, they told me it is delay. I asked them why is delay, they told me the GLE are all delay in US.

You have VIN ? Go online look for your VIN see if all the list of option and package is available info is online then the car should be like what the dealer said it’s done. If not available it should be line one of ours, sitting is a parking lot waiting for parts to arrive.

Dealer in White Plains, N.Y., told me today that lead time on new orders is 6 to 8 months. Maybe MBUSA hasn't smoothed out those production issues yet, after all.

As I mentioned on an earlier post I ordered mine in June, and just took delivery on Saturday. They had originally projected I would take delivery in October so I'm pretty happy. Took delivery from Peter Langlois at MB of Smithtown on Long Island (New York).
I mentioned to Peter on Saturday all the posts I saw up on the forums about delays in delivery, and he confirmed that MB did have parts shortages, but he's been able to "leap frog" by taking newer committed POs his dealership has from MB and applying them to older orders, so there wasn't a crazy wait. If anyone's in the NY maybe look him up, like I said, I was pretty happy with 3 months from deposit to delivery and got exactly the build I wanted.
