I posted on another thread that I did get a hard shift the other day in Sport Mode...actually in Individual Mode but everything is sport except the suspension. It happened as I braked hard in traffic and then let up. Felt like it skipped a gear downshifting.

Another glitch has been inability to lock the doors by touch and now the “kick to open” have both become erratic. I think it happens associated with the Soft Close function. It seems like-when the Soft Close has operated the driver and sometimes driver side rear door are disabled requiring use of the Fob. Might also just be a coincidence because after weeks with no issues the kick function has quit working.

I love the Mercedes me App for the lock function. Several times I forgot to lock and got the reminder with an option to lock it remotely.

As far as noise the 450 is very quiet including the Engine. You might buy the 350 for $$$ but the 450 gets very good mileage and will have better resale, IMO.

Good point I forgot about that. It doesn't and it's set to Auto Lock. I need to check my settings again....might be another glitch.

Auto Locking will lock the car when you exceed 5 mph or so. The other auto lock function I've observed is if you unlock the car, but don't open a door, it will relock within a short time.

I don’t think he meant the 350 pulls harder as in has more torque, as shown with the quotation marks. He’s talking about engine noise. If you’re trying to get both cars up to speed, the 450 is pretty effortless while the 350 is a bit more raucous and loud and is working much harder to get there.

Sounds correct to me, GLC will not auto lock car if you get out and walk away.

I noticed sometimes when driving downhill in comfort or eco mode, my GLE450 can ”forget” to shift up and stays at a lower shift and maintains 3,000 rpm, with noticeable noise.

Another issue yesterday. The wireless charger area was making a rather loud buzz noice. Didn’t go off after I parked and switched off the engine. Not sure how long it last. Everything goes back normal today.

You will need to buy a replacement fob from an authorized dealer and probably take the car into them for programming. In the US the fobs are several hundred dollars. There is a separate thread for the 2012-19 (W166 models), but that is the basic procedure.

I have a 2020 GLE 450 purchases April 2019. I have had a few problems but the one which has been repeating is the Heat/AC control. On multiple occasions the AC will get HOT, the only way I can get it cool is to go to the lowest setting. Then it is too cold and if I go up 1 degree to 60 it gets HOT. This has happened over 6 times, dealer can not find or duplicate scenario. Told me I must be setting it incorrectly! It happens spontaneously while it is functioning normally then it is out of control. I bought the car in April and I think the heat would not get hot enough but before I realized it may have a problem I started with the AC on a regular basis.

My touch to lock doors are inconsistent, dealer told me it might be interference from the signal of my cell phone if the keys are in the pocket side where I where my phone. I don't believe it!

Will research AC reset button, but it happens inconsistently, with out touching any buttons.

No it happens inconsistently once, after the car is shut off for a while it seems to function correctly.

What is the reset feature. My control panel has the the A/C rest button stlye lever. It is either red/on or dark/off?

Yeah, it's "REST," not "RESET." It's to use residual heat when the vehicle has been turned off. Don't think it's for cooling, though there is some residual stored with that, as well.

I have a related problem: sometimes (randomly) trunk does not open if my key is inside of my shoulder bag.
