Received my custom lug bolts today (M15x1.25x57mm). Quality seems excellent. From China; 7 weeks from order. These will be for my Winter wheels which came from my '12ML; using 12mm spacers in the rear for the stock fit.

look so nice !!! Wait I have a set too but I don’t have the car yet haha.
So, Tery and I have a bit of a problem with the custom lug bolts we had produced by Boaji Honest Metals Materials (Honest Titanium) Co. in Baoji, China. They are beautiful, but the seats are not fabricated correctly. They should have a 14mm ball seat. The seat profile is indeed 14mm radii, but the sides have different center points and do not form a ball or circle. This would put stress into a small areas of the wheel seats instead of distributing them. I will not use these.
This is a big issue and I have started communication with them, though with a 15 hour time difference it takes a while. I'm hoping they live up to their name and remake them. I produced this Autocad drawing (got to use my architectural experience!) to illustrate this:

Sorry for you. As we say in French "achetez chinois, achetez deux fois" (sort of bad translation with a rhyme like in French could be: "buy Chinese, buy twice these)

The sad thing is the quality seems excellent, and judging by their website it appears they should know what they are doing.

Honest Titanium is not being cooperative so far. This is my revised drawing to show the issue with using the bolts as fabricated. I will not use these as they concentrate the stress in small areas at each wheel hole.

Live and learn! Never custom order from China, especially from someone whose sole business is not automotive-related. The company Tery and I ordered the titanium lug bolts from seems highly capable, and featured beautiful lug bolts and nuts on their website. http://www.honest-titanium.com/products.html. So $318 for 20 seemed reasonable compared to $500 quote from California. As noted in my previous posts they are gorgeous, but the configuration of the seat is incorrect and not spherical. I will not chance using these.
So, they are going to remake them, but it cost me $187 to ship them back along with $7 for stock Mercedes bolt, so now I'm in it $512. Not seeming like such a bargain! And I get to wait another 6 or 8 weeks to get them probably.
Aaargh!

I could write a book on missinterpretation of specifications with China suppliers. I finally hired an American inspector in China to work with and inspect the product before they shipped it. It was interesting that the samples always looked incredible but when the final product came in it was nothing like the sample. When you questioned them they would say it cost more to make them like the sample...........the inspector stopped this. To put it into perspective I was bringing in over $2,000,000 in metal stampings.

If they can’t even get the specs of the bolt right, do you really trust them to use quality materials that are strong enough to hold your wheels to the car? I would be pretty hesitant to buy these.

I think I would have done a credit card dispute and let them eat the loss. If that's how you paid.

The company seems to have great capability and the material specs are right (Ti-6Al4v, Gr5) , so I'm not too concerned about that. The product they sent me was well made, just wrong seat shape.
