Profile picture in Mercedes Me will not save

Profile picture in Mercedes Me will not save
Does anyone else have issues trying to save their profile picture on the Mercedes Me portal? I click the save button, and if I refresh the page, the picture goes away.
I am trying to save the photo so it loads to the driver profile in my GLE...

I finally got someone from Mercedes Me that knew what they were talking about to let me know that this is a problem they are working on and it would "some time" before it is fixed. I am amazed that this is such a problem and that MB would still be working on this issue for several months. Just one more thing that has me really disappointed about the current state of affairs with Mercedes. I have owned more than 9 mercedes vehicles over the past 22 years and I can say this will be the last one. Sad.

Most likely, as is often the case, software like this is delegated to an external vendor.
Making changes takes time due to budgetary and managerial constraints, etc.
My wife works in IT, and she has told me time and time again, that software is often pushed to production on the launch date, regardless of the number of bugs still in effect. Patches get released later (Think Windows 95 and service packs 1 and 2).
But don't worry, the managers responsible for launching MecedesMe on time were able to check off the accomplishment in their annual Performance Management Measurement report, and will get their bonus.

Looks like the updated the website interface recently and it looks slightly better.
Back in April I was able to set the profile image and associate to my driver profile in the car. But I couldn’t get my wife’s profile no matter how many times I reset the account.
You need to set up the image AND link your account from Manage Driver Profiles tile, although I don’t see this option anymore since they pulled the feature in May.

Yes there used to be tons of service tiles. But most of them were descriptions about the features with no controls. I guess they are separating controllable services from the rest.

There were things like Vehicle Tracker, Remote Window & Door Locking & Remote Engine Start which were operable. Granted, most of these are better done from the app/

Hopefully it is a work in progress. If it is, it would be nice if they put a banner on the home page stating that. I liked the original showing fuel %, miles, etc. Hopefully it will be back.

My experience of the Mercedes.me team in Holland or Belgium wherever they are is one of extreme incompetence.
Took them over a year to resolve my tidal issue
took 4 months to resolve an issue with the Mercedes.me remote parking app.
i just hope they aren’t involved with autonomous driving technology.
