Ordered it in May and It went into production in late August. I decided against the EABC and just got normal airmatic suspension which is what I have on my current gle 350. I couldn’t warrant the extra cost of EABC I mean it looks and sounds awesome but my build already had a price tag of $80k. Would have been $86k with EABC. Here is my build:
You know I feel bad that I am getting my car when others have clearly waited so much longer. I know the main culprit was people who got EABC are who really have seen major delays. Hopefully you aren’t one of those. The only thing that happened to my build was it was supposed to have the roof spoiler and right before it went into production they took it off due to low volume of parts. It was a blessing as I saw one with the spoiler at the dealer a couple of weeks ago and it looked super cheap. Was not a good look at all. What model and options did you order?
The other funny note is that my dealer puts all stock on their website so my SA told me in the past 24hrs he has received five people willing to buy it and pay over sticker for it sight unseen. Just crazy........
The Volvo is actually my wife’s car and it was an impulse lease as they gave us an offer we couldn’t say no too. The car is nice but we both will NEVER buy a Volvo again. Infotainment is way to slow, transmission gear changes are slow.....major turbo lag in certain situations. The 450 is way more powerful and smooth. If I had paid full price for the Volvo I would be pissed. When we leased it they took off $14k. That lease is over next year and we are going to get another c or maybe e class sedan. I really want to get an e53. That would be fun.....lol
One thing I find interesting about those 20-inch wheels is I think they look great with the Selenite Grey, but I don't care for the way they look at all with the black. They look really sharp here, though, SoCalBenzGuy. Congrats!
