No oil dipstick? (450)

Am I missing it or is there no oil dipstick?

If so, they've made my oil extractor useless and forcing me to the dealer. Ugh.

No as far as I know. Many new cars gave up on it in favor of electronics as fewer and fewer people used it .
This is one feature that I would have liked to remain old style, see the oil level with your own eyes, instead of being fully replaced by sensors.

Jack, jackstands, oil drain pan and you're good. Not as convenient. But, that's the way most cars are going now. My 5-year old M4 is the same.

I got all that stuff. Question though, if the front only is up on jack stands, will opening up the oil drain plug still drain all of the oil? How does having the front elevated affect the drainage?

I haven't been under this one to look. Best is to reverse onto ramps for the rear wheels, then jack up the front to level. Or, get four jackstands and lift both ends sequentially.

My tires are wider than my ramps...

I haven’t seen a dipstick in any car I’ve bought since 2011.

GLC 450
Have owned the car since June and haven't looked under the bonnet, no reason to on modern cars. Only reason I can see to go under there before service in June would be to fill screenwash - hopefully not.

Really? Most MBs since 2011 do have dipstick (most I4, V6 and V8 engines): all W212 E (2010-16), all non-E63 W213 E (2017-19), all C218 CLS (2012-18), all R231 SL (2013-2020), all W166/X166 ML/GL/GLE/GLS (2012-2019), just to name several all of which I had/have - that is how MB (and I) change the oil in them. Complete absence of a dipstick is a recent phenomenon in Mercedes lineup's engines, I believe starting with new 4.0L V8 BT engine a few years ago In S-class, W213 E63 (as you know), C63 and AMG GT. But for the rest of MB's lineup it started with inline I6 T with EQ introduced for MY'19 in CLS450/53 and E53 and extended starting MY '20 for all other MB model lines using these I6T EQ engines as well as new I4 T in GLE350/E350/etc.

All US GLC43 use 3.0L V6 BT engines (with slight Hp/Tq deviations) and every US car with this engine (between MY 2015-2020) that I saw (quit a few) has a dipstick. (all GLC63s though use newer 4.0L V8 BT engine - no dipstick).

Correction: there is no dipstick in '20 S450 even though it is using the same 3.0L V6 BT as above (had it in '18 and '19). Very odd. All 3L V6 should have a dipstick behind the engine air filter on (left hand) driver's side (pic 1 above), except for ML/GLE/GL/GLS 400/450 with 3L V6 that have dipstick on the air filter's side (pic 2 above) instead of behind it.
