i just read through the DOG for the X167 and noticed its available as an option on the GLS. With the X167 and V167 being practically ther same vehicle platform for all intents and purposes its another puzzler as to why this isn't an available standard or special order option for the V167 GLE's. i definitely would have checked the box if it was.

GLS also gets heated window washer system as a seperate option or is included as a component of MVC

 

I think it's available in Netstar even if it's not in the Dealer Order Guide. Check with your sales guy. I was annoyed that I found out about it after my order locked, and it can't be retrofit.

This came standard on my GLE 53 AMG in Canada. I think it's a very good feature that works very well!

It cleans the windshield with minimal fluid so no extra fluid flying all over the place and leaving streaks down the side of the vehicle. Also, because the fluid comes straight out of the wipers, there isn't a moment when your windshield is all covered in fluid and you can't see anything.

The auto wipe feature is also pretty good. Whenever it does a dry wipe that smears the windshield, it'll automatically spray a little fluid to clear the windshield for you. Auto wipers are nothing new, but auto wipers that know when to spray fluid for you is pretty cool!

 

Currently have a 2018 GLE350, and was able to have it ordered with it. Cannot understand why they would not make an option

 

What was the cost for US orders?

 

MSRP for option was $350.
