Seat Kinetics
Someone explain what this setting is or how to activate it? It's a setting under COMFORT.

It's an annoying routine that causes the seat to shift a little randomly. The lumbar mostly.

It's in the Comfort settings group seat comfort...Seat Kinetics. touch the play arrow to turn it on

No, both seats in mine. I find it not all that compelling. Might be good after 3 straight hours of driving. Will try it again on a long trip I'm taking next week.

That depends on if the passenger seat has the power lumbar. My dealer said the passenger seat shows up in the settings even though it's not available and that was on the fix list for a future software update.

The power lumbar being the control at the side/bottom of the seat? If so, my car does have it.

Terrible feature that moves the seat position significantly while driving. Very unsettling. Just use the massage feature instead.

I like it as well; ever better than the massage seats that I have in my other car. Haven't been able to figure out how to make it work on the passenger side. Have you tried it on the passenger side yet?

Passenger seat kinetics require memory seat function.
To activate it, as was mentioned earlier, you go to the Comfort Flower icon, and under it, there are two options. Tap the left one, and then the next screen shows you the two seats. each one has a "PLAY" Triangle.

I think perhaps you need option P64, Passenger Seat Memory - do you have that? I do and both seats are selectable on mine.

I found that the easiest way to activate it is to use a voice command. "Turn on seat kinetics" Simple. I use it on longer trips. The seat motions are more subtle but they keep you from getting stiff. If you want to really feel something more pronounced, use the massaging feature if you have it.

Do you always have to go into Comfort Setting to turn on OR can you turn it on when creating a theme? That way anytime you select the then it’s activated?

Can you use both seat kinetics/massage together? Ordered the 450 but changing to the 53 and will be adding the message feature. Thanks

I have never tried using them both at the same time, but my guess is that they would not work that way. The massaging seat function will turn off after a period of use. The seat kinetics will continue working until you stop it. I use the feature on long trips.
