Long time listener, first time caller - didn’t see a GLE Coupe thread for the 2021 53 Coupe, so putting it in here.
Placed an order for a 2021 GLE Coupe 53 AMG
Order was placed yesterday from a dealer in NorCal. Estimated date that they have given me in December or Mid-December.

Pretty much loaded after that.

Original Build Date: September, 30th, 2020 (provided on 7/09/2020)
Revised Build Date: October 10th, 2020 (provided on 7/24/2020)

UPDATED BUILD DATE: LATE OCTOBER / EARLY NOVEMBER - only a range of dates now is what I am being told (confirmed by dealer on 9-22-2020). .

2021 GLE 450, 2017 GLC 300 4Matic, 2008 FJ Cruiser
Just got my new update from my dealer.
Ordered in July.
Old built date for GLE 450 was 10/20 now it’s been pushed back to 11/4. Cannot do any changes since supposedly it’s locked in now.
Expected delivery beginning of December 🤷🏻♂️

I ordered my GLE 53AMG in June. It's build and waiting on transport from Alabama VPC to Portland VPC. Hoping to get it delivered by end of october

I am scheduled for D1 Oct and that hadn’t changed 9-19. Assume I’ll be getting the bad news soon. Slipping a week is not unusual but 3-4 is hard to swallow.

As expected my GLE53 D1 October build date has been rescheduled. Production start date has been moved to November 6. Hope I have it for Christmas. My Dealer has been given no information on the Factory Status but obviously there are ongoing component shortages.
They also have two 53’s for inventory that were built about 2 weeks ago but not shipped yet.

I got an update today from my dealer. He called out that my GLE 53 is on it's way to Portland VPC with an ETA for 8th Oct. If everything goes as planned, he should be able to deliver the car on 10th Oct. Looking forward to it and hoping for no more delays.

My GLE53 was produced at the end of August and arrived in Germany by the end of September. There are 4 issues that prevent delivery (I do not know the nature of these issues), two are scheduled to be fixed by 23 October and 5 November, there other 2 have no scheduled date.

Thanks for the info....that might explain a lot about the recent production dates being delayed.

Received an email from dealer today with screenshot. Here is what is says:
Decade Planned 9.03.2020
Decade Scheduled 10.01.2020
Est Prod. Date 11.03.2020
Dealer ETA No-date
Status says B3-X10 PROD. Not sure what that means?
Guessing if it gets Built early November we should have by early December?

Dealer just advised I have a production date of 10-31-20 and delivery a couple weeks later. I'm within trucking distance of Vance, so likely will arrive sooner. At least that's been my previous experience with ML and GLS

I’m anxious to find out if my 20” winter tire and wheel setup from my 450 will still fit with the AMG High Performance Brakes. The regular AMG brakes are 15.75”-2 piston vs 15.75”-6 piston on front so I’m optimistic. Rear are smaller so shouldn’t be an issue.
I also want to confirm that we will get All Season Tires on the 21’s as listed in the DOG. With AS tires I don’t need to worry about changing over when temps get near freezing. The Michelin AS on my 450 performed well and also had good tread life at 14k.
