2021 GLE 53 Coupe or 2020 GLC 63 SUV?

2021 GLE 53 Coupe or 2020 GLC 63 SUV?
Which would you guys choose? The GLE53 coupe is about $5k more spec'd the way I want, but obviously much lower performance. The interior in it is way better though. Having a tough time trying to decide between the two. I know the best answer would be to go for the GLE 63, but that's out of the budget.

I'm confused- if the 63AMG is out of the budget, why are you asking 2021 GLE 53 Coupe or 2020 GLC 63 SUV?? I think you answered your own question.

i think you just have to ask yourself how much you want that speed. if it's not the higher priority, i would get the gle53. like you said, it has much better interior (which is a big deal to me)

Interiors quality wise are the same. If anything more lighter weight cheap plastics on the GLE. Personally I've made it clear in other posts the GLE interior is cheap and poorly laid out for the price. I'd go 63 and get the "true" AMG experience if performance is at all important.

You can option a 53 pretty much like a 63S except for the engine. I went 53 because there is hardly any place you can use the power of the 63S. Also the “range” between fueling is a lot less because of the poor gas mileage, a minor inconvenience on longer trips.
Had I not owned a GLE 450 I might have been concerned about a six cylinder but the 450 has nice Torque & decent power. IMO, the V8 in the 580 would be the ideal GLE AMG, maybe just call it a GLE 63.

@sunny201 It’s a question of size. What space requirements do you have for your transportation? Do you have six dogs and four kids? The GLC won’t carry that. The GLE carries a lot of stuff.
A secondary point is that the GLC is known for “crabbing” which is a rubbing or crunching sound because of suspension/wheel/tire design choices made by the manufacturer. Search on this site. It also affects Porsche and seemingly to a lesser extent, BMW. Google Ackermann geometry error.
