I have experienced this same issue 2 times as well. The vehicle idles fine, but stops reading input from the accelerator. Shutting the car off and restarting clears the problem. Mercedes claimed they never heard of this issue before and could not duplicate. (Its on the forums, they are aware) This is a major safety issue and needs to be corrected. Symptomatic of a software issue, as reboot corrects the problem.

Loss of power 2019 Gle300

Is this issue still occurring and what is the fix . It's happening constantly . No power and the only temp fix is turning off and restarting .

2020 GLE580

Have you had your foot lightly on the brake pedal during a turn. I have found on our Audi and VW's that you can't accelerate if my foot is on the brake.

Do people still do 2 pedal driving? That’s very hard to do with modern cars.
