Projector Light/Locator light not working

Hi,

I am just wondering if there anyone out there having the same issue that I am currently facing. I just bought a brand new GLE 300D last week, it was nice to see the projector light turn on when you open the door showing the mercedes logo on the floor, but somehow, the light has been turned off and it no longer showing the mercedes logo whenever I open the door. can someone please help with how to turn the light on?

There is no menu option to turn this on/ off. The light only comes on in certain scenarios not everytime the door is opened. It. It comes on upon unlocking with the fob and exiting the vehicle once the ignition is turned off. The only time it activates with the engine running is slow speed maneuvers if the 360’camera is automatically activated or slow speed reversing if you don’t have 360

I stand corrected forgot the mirrors were part of locator lighting. You can also change the time from 15, 30. 45, or 60 seconds under Exterior Lighting Delay on the same menu page in MBUX Be careful there is also an off on the delay page that will also turn off the lighting. Check both

There is a setting called 'Welcome', if I'm not mistaken, under the LED settings. Turn that on and you should be good. I think someone else said that your headlights need to be on auto as well

Thanks for your help! I was able to get it restored. Don’t know what I did to get it back on however, it’s not projecting a large circular logo on the ground as it did initially. ???
