Recall Notice 21V058
I received a letter for this recall, noted as a OTA update for th communication module. I went to the merced=Me portal and I cannot see if this update has occurred. Has anyone verified their update has been performed OTA?

Probably won’t be for a while. The fix wasn’t ready yet according to their response letter to NHTSA.

I called my service dept and they said it wasn't available yet and that the letter went out prematurely.

I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for my wife when I got a notification from the app that a "service has been updated". I opened the app and looked everywhere and could not find anything. When I got home I checked the portal and there it was under Software Updates. Be patient, it will come in due time.

I haven't receive the update yet. (and to be fair, I am not rushing them, I am just not sure if OTA works as I never receive one for the year and a half of the car ownership)
One thing I notice, is that my car is no longer listed with open recalls in NHTSA website, but when checking on Mercedes website, I see that this specific recall is still active. Did Mercedes (and can they) remove my car (and maybe others) from the NHTSA list if the recall wasn't complete?
