NE1 with the Espresso Brown/Black Leather interior (not the lighter Macchiato Brown/Black)? Is the Espresso Brown in inserts as shown in the 1st photo or are the seats all brown as shown in the 2nd photo? How would this look with the grey headliner and aluminum trim? Thanks so much for any info and photos that you can provide.

I ordered my 450 last October with expresso brown like #2 picture. Mercedes came back and said it wouldn’t be available until July/21 production. I think it looks better with the black headliner. Next car I order will have the brown not the split brown like picture #1. I think picture #2 is better for resale. My dealer will not order picture #1 for stock. The trim is up to you.

The top picture is the Tartufo interior, which I don't believe is available for 2022. There were some capacity constraints in 2020 and 2021. I have this on my Cardinal Red GLS 450. I was hesitant about the two-tone seats, but I really like it. At the time Espresso came with Gray, not Black, which I thought was a mismatch.

I have the Emerald Green exterior, the tartufo seats and the Metal Weave trim in my '20 GLS. I LOVE the way it looks!

If you are concerned with resale value, do not get expresso brown. From what I've seen, expresso brown interiors typically have the lowest resale of any other MB interior. The tartufo looks nice. If you want brown, go with tartufo or the saddle brown.

My GLE 450 with Espresso/Magma sold day 1. I liked the Brown a lot but Black would go better than the Magma. Took them a year to figure that out.

Thanks to Hoban, DM335, CALLA, BlownV8 and Ron.S for your replies and input. I ordered the Espresso Brown/Black with the Black Headliner. The Black/Brown combo is now available in the 2022 GLE580 model year and as shown in the DOG. It includes the solid brown front and rear seats as shown in the 2nd photo in my original post.

UPDATE on Brown Upholstery for 2022
FYI -- Here's an update for brown upholstery taken from the 2022 DOGs for non-AMG GLE SUVs and the GLE53 SUV. I believe the GLE Coupes are different. The GLE350, and 450 show the solid brown seats as in the 1st photo. The GLE53 has the brown seat inserts (which I have ordered) as shown in the 2nd photo
