Just had my RJA coding session, I had the AMG instrument cluster and Sport+ option installed. The process was painless and got done with no issues. I took the car for a spin and all I can say is WOW ! Throttle response is vastly improved in Sport+ mode. I didn't hear any difference in the exhaust, I'm sure our Canadian GLEs have the most basic setup so I wasn't expecting much there anyway. The AMG cluster is amazing, lots of new options to play with. I highly recommend this to anyone who is considering coding options.

I am looking at getting a few updates here but all of my hardware is apple silicon has anyone been able to do remote via parallels or in some other way?

yeah, i just did my flash yesterday via a mac. you have to jump thru a few more hoops, but it works. first off, i believe your mac has to have an intel processor. basically, you set up a virtual machine that runs windows 10, so you have to download/create a VM, and then load win 10 onto that VM. once that's done, you load up anydesk on the VM so that RJ can remote into your computer. from there, you plug the obd2 connector and give RJ access to your VM and he does the rest. the entire process took about 15-20 mins and required that you start the car up once

My update was done with my MacBook Pro and a Parallels Desktop Windows 10 virtual machine. I had to install Anydesk on the VM and they connected and did the update with zero issues.

Raj did my car this morning; we did Distronic, the matrix lights, speed limit assist, and remember start/stop. First off the replacement steering wheel buttons arrived pretty quickly, and were easy to fit. That took me about 1 hour going slowly as I'd not touched this car before. The actual coding was a breeze, took like 30 minutes plus road test time. Everything seems to work as expected, the speed limit assist apparently takes a couple of hours to sync properly but the option is there.
He also changed the temp. displays to Celcius which was appreciated. Great service, a pleasure to deal with.

Hi! Who use the Distrionic Pro (Adaptive cruise control) on GLE V167, is your car starts to drive automatically after stopped in jam? Mine, if it completely stopped by Distronic Pro, and stand for even couple of seconds, isn't start to move until I press "Res" button or touch gas pedal. Interesting thing is, that it starts the engine (by auto start/stop system) when car ahead starts to move (even if we were stopped for 20-30 seconds), but not starting to move after that car.

I use a new MB Pro Max with the M1 chip, and I do have Win11 running (ARM version) under Parallels with no issues I am aware of. Bluetooth and USB work fine. Will this setup work with your hardware/software for programming changes?

I had Raj do my upgrade on my 2021 GLE450 and the stop and go works on its own in traffic when I have tried it. I've tried it on FDR traffic in NYC as well as the street (Just to see how well it works) and while it's not the quickest to start automatically after the car in front of me moves, it is pretty good. Again, I have no reason other than testing the system in Manhattan street traffic, but it actually made a traffic mess on the FDR more tolerable.

Don't know about aftermarket fixes, but the factory Distronic is very patient. It'll wait more than 5 seconds+.
My observation, though, is that it takes a while to start moving after the car in front pulls away.
I think it's waiting for the interval, that you've set, to be realized before it gets going. This may make the cars behind you think you're asleep at the wheel and get impatient. That all black, lifted pickup behind you will undoubtedly crowd you and honk
.So if the Distronic has me stopped in traffic, I either move my interval closer, or get ready to touch the gas pedal to start moving more immediately.

My manual says it will go after 30 seconds - that's forever in most cases.

An update does not necessarily mean you will loose any coding. Don't worry Raj will fix you up. If anything gets wiped out he will redo it for you, free of charge for 2 years from purchase and after that its a 30 pound charge.

did mine this morning. actually had forgotten the time and RJ was patient and cool. took about 20 mins in total. got the amg instrument cluster and also the menus. exactly the same as in my old GLC43. now Im gonna have to get the performance grill [jk]. it was so easy. note: if your laptop has no usb A then you will have to get an adapter.

I have a 2022 GLS 450 which unfortunately came without the Driver Assistance Package, it does not have the Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Steering Assist, nor the Traffic Sign Recognition
Is it possible to retrofit it and enable all these functions?

Out of curiosity, does modifying your coding affect the vehicle's warranty? or ELW (OEM)? With a new auto, as in xmas new, I'm just figuring the car out as it is.....but may be interested in a few of the offerings coding changes can provide. Just do not want to end up at the dealer for A/B or any other squawk service and receive any feedback regarding "options" that were not originally programmed/installed.
