19” rims on a 2021 GLE 350.

I decided to run the 20” Cooper all-season tires for this winter as I have one year old 19” Nokian Hakkapeliittra R3’s , sensational winter tires by the way, that I used on my 2014 ML 350, so I’m looking for some V167 rims to use as winters and was told that the GLE 350 will not accommodate 19” rims, only 20” minimum. Is this accurate, I’m sorry if this has been discussed already.

The standard wheel size is19”. It’s the only wheel size you can get that has the same offsets front and rear.

Thanks so much.. I was so confused when the individual told me that considering I’ve seen quite a few V167 19” rims that would be perfect for my winter rims. I’m assuming all V167 rims take a 15 mm bolt now as the W166 was 14 mm. Thanks again.

My '20 with AMG Exterior Package required 20" minimum rims due to the "sports brake system," but looks like '21 did not have that? If not, then your car should take 19s. However, chances are your Nokians would be undersized for this vehicle. 20s are a better choice.

The 20" 50R & RZV/RZW offset difference can be adapted with 1/2" spacers in the front, I believe.

Interesting Greg…

I also the AMG exterior package on my 21 GLE but I don’t think I have the sports brakes as I think this was a 450 option.

The 2020 DOG does not distinguish between the 350 & 450 as far at the sport brakes. However, this feature is absent from the 2021 & 2022 DOGs entirely.

I was disappointed that they removed them from the '21. I'd like to get some perforated rotors and better calipers, mostly for my personal preference, but don't feel like dropping $4k or more at the present!

Yeah, and they kept the price the same! De-contenting. BTW, the Sport calipers are not any better other than aesthetically. Still 2-piston floating.
