I put larger tires on my car and want to get mud flaps to keep some of the dirt from getting all over the car. I have searched ebay and internet and nobody seems to have them for my car which does not have the amg package or running boards. Anyone have any luck finding them?

My Canadian MB dealer only had front mud flaps and they couldn't provide ETA for the rear one so I purchased the complete set from Pelican Parts in the US. They shipped very fast and I tried to book an appointment with a local MB dealer to have them installed around x-mas time and they refused because I didn't buy from the authorized MB dealer. I finally had them installed at one of the independent garage I used to take my previous car to for service.

How did they fit?

Fit was perfect as they were genuine MB mud flaps. I will take the photo in a day or so as the car is filthy dirty and the temperature is super cold in Toronto, Canada.

Could you provide a part number, or maybe they don't call them mud flaps.

Did they come with all the installation parts/clips etc? Did you have to drill into the fender

Sorry but the car is dirty as the weather in Toronto has been pretty lousy. Mine is w/o sport/running board.

Did you have to do any drilling, or were the attachment points already there. How complicated was installation? I hoping it was the latter.

Front ones were plug and play but I believe one hole was drilled for the rear ones. It took my non MB independent mechanic approx 40 min to complete the installation.

I ordered a set from Mercedes for my 450 with running board. After test fitting the rear set, I decided I don't like the look of it. If anyone is interesting, I can sell you at cost + shipping (in US).
Part number is 167-890-27-00 for rear, and 167-890-26-00 for front.

Yep, still sitting in my garage. Maybe $100 plus shipping? Just be aware that one of them is opened (I tried to dry fit it, but never actually install)
Also, ensure that this is the right part for your car.

Any fitment or drilling issues especially with the mounting holes for the front and rear flaps? The rear flaps are currently discontinued.

Does your GLE 450 have the AMG exterior package?

Any idea if it’s compatible for a 2024 GLE 53 SUV with running boards?

Mine is non AMG with running board, and when I dry fit the rear set, the center hole line up with existing "push pin". The bottom one will require drilling. As for the upper one, its behind the fender edge so I didn't check. I did not open the front one so I don't know for sure, but since it is part from Mercedes, it should fit correctly.
I can't tell you if it will fit the 2024 FLE 53. You should check with dealer to see if they can provide you with the part number of the mud flaps that fit your car. Mercedes website only listed up to 2023 model year.
