W167 GLE WIRELESS CHARGER ISSUES IPHONE 13 pro max
Hi people
Anyone experienced an issue on the gle where the wireless charger works for about 10 seconds then disconnects giving a notification that there is an object in the way?
ive tried to remove my phone case but still same issue. Tried different positions still does the same thing.
my phone is an iphone 13 pro max

my car was in mercedes for a warranty repair master cylinder replacement. They did however do a software update as my mercedes me disconnected. I asked why this was and they said they had to deactivate mercedes me to do the software update.
is there still individual updates for the pad?

I think you'll find the GLE charging pad is incompatible with the iPhone 13 Pro, because the camera lenses keep the body of the phone two far from the charging pad. The 'object in the way' is just air.
Happy to be corrected, but that's the answer I came up with. In any case the wireless charging is slooooowww....better to plug in. It's not unique to the GLE BTW, I have the same issue in other vehicles.

Had similar issues with iPhone 12 and 13 pro max on my 2021 GLE 350 since day1.
Was scheduled for Service A this week, and they did the upgrade.
All iPhones charging well now with no issues.
