2022 Ram 2500 Diesel Limited
Recd the VIN today, should be here in two weeks or so.
BUT no airmatic suspension. Was wondering why the car was cheaper.

Why should we get what we waited for for 6 months. I should have bought a high end Durango SRT.

Six months later and option missing the vehicle is finally at the dealer. The airmatic was left off, which was why I got the tow option to begin with. Lets go back 30 years when I lost everything and lived in a car. This vehicle situation is nothing compared to life that long ago. Saturday morning my wife gets her new vehicle and this is what 30 years difference makes. No a bad turn of events. Funny, this vehicle is #35 in 15 years.

Yes we are excited and hope this one has no issues.

Has been 10 years since I owned two E-class. Now looking at a GLE 450. Local dealer had $7500 added to MSRP. He said his supply of GLEs has increased a little over last two years but not where it normally is. As per discussion here he agreed the add on could decrease or go away if supply continues to increase. Are others seeing this amount of add on $$$s to their purchases?

I could look for 2023 like I want or wait to order 2024. Would ordering a car be closer to MSRP? Perhaps there will be pressure on car prices towards middle of year as parts shortages improve but not sure that would impact prices of cars on the dealer lot. On the other hand the 2024 changes have just been announced with '24 orders likely available mid summer. Any advice for former owner appreciated. Also looking at X5, etc.

Never pay over MSRP….
Many Dealers have never gone over MSRP even through the shortages. This seems to be a large car market ‘thing” like in CA. The Chip issue seems to be over and supplies are coming back to normal. Shop around even if you need to go out of area to see what’s fair. Most Dealers will price match a lower offer.

For $7500, you can fly first class to any dealer in the country, pick up the car, drive it home, and still have money left over.

I'm in NYC and was able to negotiate 7k over MSRP for a GLE 63S Coupe.
No reason they should mark up a GLE 450 by $7500 or at all tbh.

Mark up, I would never pay a mark up. No current new vehicle is worth more than sticker. A fool and his money are soon parted. .

My dealer outside of NYC has never marked up vehicles over MSRP throughout the whole shortage period EXCEPT for G Wagons.

Took delivery a week ago, my wife loves this car. She did not want to get rid of the convertible, but now is much happier with this vehicle. The technology is so much better, finally, and the ride is amazing. Even the paint is much better than the last few cars. All in all, good decision so far and hope it remains this way.

2023 GLE 450 4Matic; Past: 2019 GLS 450; 2011 E550; 2007 E63; 2003 E500; 1999 E430
Took delivery yesterday. Vehicle was more expensive and noticed a different P/O number. Driver assist and trailer hitch added. Everything else was fine except the inside trim was crystal gray around the windows (headliner), not black which I wanted. Never noticed it until my wife mentioned it to me. She likes the lighter trim as well as the driver assist and originally questioned why I wanted it darker. So I guess that's a win. Maybe I should have waited for the original P/O, but salesman mentioned that some vehicles are not being built for 2023 and will be pushing 2024 models. Overall I have been with Mercedes for 24 years and things have changed. One salesperson mentioned that these high end vehicles are not the "me too" vehicles anymore. There seems to be less of these vehicles on the road now, so I feel privileged to be in a position to drive one.
