I ordered May and it was done early September. Then realized 2 things I wanted were left off by a miscommunication between the dealer and I so they added those to the build. Now build date Oct 16 with early November delivery.

I ordered a 350 in June with a first decade October build date. Dealer said all is on schedule. Delivery in late Oct early Nov.

I'm still waiting on an allocation as well - ordered a GLE 53 SUV in the last week of August. The dealer was pretty confident they'd have an allocation for one in September but that came and went (or they gave it to someone else). I'm told I'm the next in line at my dealership; there was one person ahead of me at the time that also didn't have an allocation, and four people with allocations that hadn't locked yet, according to them. I've noticed that 2023 are hitting the dealerships already but for the 53, the majority seem to be Coupes.

I got lucky as I got one of two allocations for a GLE 63 my dealer had. Order was placed on 4/14/2022 and it came in on 7/25/2022 which is lightning fast and with all of the options I wanted. Originally they thought it wouldn't be there until October and it was July instead. As I said I think it was just luck. Hope everyone gets theirs as well.

seems like there has been about the same amount of delay for the last 3 model years. I would have loved to have a 63 but it didn't exist for the '20 model year. I ordered my 580 the second week of January 2020 didn't take delivery until the day after it came in the last week of September. It was a 9 month almost 10 wait for me. I am glad I didn't wait until 2021 to order a 63 however cause they killed Macchiato Beige/Magma Gray leather. 2020 was the only year. it's been Macchiato/Black ever since and I prefer my gray carpet and gray/wood wheel over black.
