Energizing Comfort Warrmth Memory

I like to use the Warmth function and it is on my top Favorite actions.

The issue I'm having is that when I check the passenger seat as well, it works well for that time.
But when I come to the car a few hours later after the engine was off, the passenger check always gets UN-Checked, and I need to re-select it.
It will not "remember" the checked setting for the passenger, like it does for the driver.

I was wondering whether it is the same behavior on your cars.

Here is an assumption on my end...Just like the passenger airbag which is only activated when a person sits in the seat, this option may not be defaulted since the passenger seat is considered empty until a person triggers the seat sensor. So the setting defaults make sense.

I usually start it AFTER the passenger is seated next to me, and it's still the same.

I don't think it's the reason.

Also, you can heat up the seats of the passenger as much as needed, even when no one is sitting there.

This question came up recently in another thread. Some said Yes while others said No. It seems that those who responded "Yes", including myself, all had the "Rapid Heating Option". Do you have that? No matter which option you have, there is a limit as to how long the seat will be heated.

None of that is relevant to how software behavior is programmed.

What was the title of that thread?

Yes, I have the Rapid Heating Option

Thanks, that thread is similar but basically completely different and not related!
Remote start behavior is very limited, and has its own set of rules.

The behavior I'm referring to makes no sense. The warmth is supposed to be a one click shortcut to a warming solution.
There is no point in going into the settings each time to add the passenger, since this can be done much faster in other ways.
I also think that when I got the car, it did remember the checked passenger settings, and that is why I asked others with similar "warmth" option to check this.

So please check whether the "warmth" option with the passenger checked, remains checked the next day as well.

I understand that the warmth option is not available in all GLEs, but some of you do have it, and no one with this option replied.
Winter will be over soon

Please see if you can help out with this issue.
