2021 GLE53 SUV
My 2021 GLE53 is in pristine condition and has been working beautifully ever since. Only issue is the headlight got foggy which was fixed (replaced) under warranty.

My vehicle has dropped 20% trade-in value which is reasonable and am thinking of upgrading to the exact same vehicle (GLE53 - same everything) but the 2024 model, which will reset my warranty period.

why? just because of the new design daytime running lights? you are going to pay extra $5,600 for the pinnacle trim?

There are three items I am after.
1. updated MBUX (I am a tech guy, so this interests me)
2. add massage seats. This is the only option left out of my current GLE53 due to shortages when I got my 2021.
3. Reset the powertrain warranty.

I am happy with my current vehicle & trim, but since a refresh is upon us with some noted improvements, I plan on jumping on it before my current vehicle drops in trade-in value too much.

Which improvememt in 2024 model ? I thought 2021 and 2024 are basically the same cars , the only noticable difference is 2024 350 will use the 48v battery which makes the idle start seamless.
Would you consider 2025 model ? It will a completely new design.

2024 is the facelift.
2025 will be insignificant most likely. Redesign will take several more years.

It's not the daylight running lights. The reflectors in the headlight makes the car worst IMO.
Most of the cost of the Pinnacle Trim would be because of the Massaging Seats / HUD / lights.
Going to see if there is a way to retrofit/replace the reflector headlights for the multibeam one but I feel like there would be some wiring issues / programming issues.
I tried to get my build switch to the Pinnacle Trim but it's too late. My build is on a freeze since it's starting soon.
It sucks but I'll just get the car regardless.

Yeah this is just false. The 2024 Model year is the facelift model which is what we're dicussing. So while not a huge change, it does change a noticable number of things including wheels, lights, bumpers, equipment, steering wheels, interior and exterior colors, and the infotainment system.

An entirely new generation will likely arrive for the 2027 or 2028 model year.

Anyone know what the info is on option 553 "Trailer Assist"? The dealer can't find it in his ordering system. The trailer hitch is there, option 550, but no trailer assist. Looks like it may be a software add on maybe?

I just ordered a GLE450. Waiting on a build date. No MSRP yet. Was told they expected it to be around $68,500.

Based on those options, I'd say at least 70k.

So (874) Magic Vision is back on the GLEs? It seemed this option disappeared from the 2022-2023 model years and was reserved for the S-Class variants.

Magic Vision is back. I have it on my 2018 GLE 550e and have been happy with it

Magic vision is where the wiper blades themselves have holes to dispense the washer fluid. No spray nozzles on the hood.

Based on an MSRP of $68,500, total price should be around $89k.

Difficult to diy wipers replacement. Now you will have to pay even more for the maintenance at dealership.

Is this magic version wiper standard on the 2024 model ? It doesn't show on my 2024 GLE 450 order sheet.

They sure made the front of the GLE more like the new GLC, I am sure there will be a mixed number of reaction to this decision. I guess some would like it for it being more sportier like the GLC sibling or some will hate it for the less mature being like the GLC sibling.

I quite like it, I think the lower air intakes are sportier than before, and I really like the star-pattern grill that is making its way through the lineup.
