They sure made the front of the GLE more like the new GLC, I am sure there will be a mixed number of reaction to this decision. I guess some would like it for it being more sportier like the GLC sibling or some will hate it for the less mature being like the GLC sibling.

I mean I do too but I understand why some won't, those include that ones that prefer the pfl one because you can tell from a distance that is a GLE with the DRL signature.

Not surprised, I think MB first brought the amber ones over to North America since this generation GLA? or was it the E-Class W213 facelift or did it started with the W223 S-Class?

I received a build date of 30 May 2023. I waiting for the salesman to send the details of what the factory plans on building so I can compare it to what I ordered. Hopefully there won’t be options missing.

if they build it on that date, when do they expect to receive it. I’m going to order a 450 so deciding when to order it.

Pricing appears to somewhat be out. I've seen GLE350 4Matic build sheets saying base price $62,650. Haven't seen any higher up models yet. Hopefully this means they'll do a quick release and won't have cars sitting at the VPC for months on end.

If you have an updated build guide, please share. Thanks!

I don't have an updated build guide, just saw the price on listings at MB Rockville Center. MB North Olmsted also has prices listed. All of them are GLE350s so I don't know yet the base price of 450s or 53s etc.

for a barely changed model, that sure is a choice... esp for us in the south that don't need awd. essentially becomes almost a $6k price increase for the same car, not even BMW did that with the X5 refresh. Porsche raised 10% but are adding standard features

yeah, they have all raised about the same % over the past 2 model years, but at least with BMW and Porsche you are getting more power and/or more standard features.
Looking at the order guide, it doesn't seem like the GLE is adding anything. throw in the fact that the only difference is a slight tweak to the headlights and the fact that the full DRL is now an additional cost when it wasn't before. Makes me reconsider

There's also a demand difference as indicated by Days Supply, which might indicate the others were overpriced and Mercedes underpriced. Or not.
Also, looking at Corporate Earnings, it looks like Daimler is maintaining pricing power, where others aren't.
It'll be interesting to see if the Market still favors MB pricing next year.

The ISG and AWD seem to be significant additions to the base GLE.

Yeah, mercedes is selling every single one they make, so people don't seem to mind yet.
