AMG GLE 53
Does any one know that the amg gle 53 coupe the winter package is an optional package or a must order option.
I order a 2024 53 and my dealer original said it was a glith in the MD ordering system but now she said is in every 53 coupe

On my 2024 GLE 53 SUV looks like it was a required $450 option. It showed up on my build sheet. That is strange
for sure. My dealer was looking into it. My build date is now July 9.

how long did you place the order until finding out the build date? I placed an order for the 2024 GLE450e for about a week and haven’t heard anything yet from the dealer.

About 3 weeks ago. I placed the order. The original date was Jun 28 for a start build date. Talked to the dealer yesterday
the new date was July 9. BTW there are about 18 2024 GLE 450 with 100 miles of Naples, I used Cargurus.

Yes, that’s what I meant by “only”…all GLE variants are built in Tuscaloosa for the world market. It works out for shipping giving Mercedes a backhaul after European built vehicles are shipped to the US.

I see I guess I interpreted it as GLEs sold in USA are only made in that plant didn't understand it as applicable to other markets, my bad.

Has anyone tried to order the $2500 brake upgrade? I was told that it needed the night package for some strange reason.
And the Mojave gray is gone as a color option, my wife loved that color.
