Reading that S-class thread makes me wanna say, "give me back my Xenons!".
2 days ago when it was a little dry I see residue inside the lens. If the moisture goes away and the residue is still there I will argue a replacement. On my c-class they replaced both headlights before when there was a residue after a moisture build-up and the new lights were fine afterwards. If I were you document both sides of the headlights at the same time and when the problem does not go away time to call MB about it. I already texted my service adviser about it and will let you know what he will say. If he does not do anything I'll call my service manager friend and tell him to pull some strings and get it replaced.

My other route at the current time is A. not dealing with my MB dealership. B. not wasting any time with MBUSA, yet. I still think they are pretty much worthless since all they do is call the dealership and basically say a mad customer called them. C. trying to get an insider MB person to help me out and get it ok’d to change it out. I mean after all, if it’s normal, why isn’t the other one doing it.

It's a common occurrence in the automotive industry. I've worked for an OEM over 20 yrs now.
Unfortunately, you run into idiots at the dealership who insists that's how they all are.
Escalate it to the District Service Mgr.... if the dealer service mgr doesn't want to make that contact, call MBUSA and threaten to invoke lemon law
